Carrefour Kenya has launched its inaugural ‘Brand Festival,’ a two-week shopping bonanza running from March 14 to 27, 2025, offering discounts of up to 50% and prizes worth over Sh10 million.

The event spans all 28 stores nationwide and the Carrefour app, blending traditional retail with cutting-edge digital convenience.

Shoppers can win prizes ranging from a car worth Sh1.3 million to home appliances, shopping vouchers, and fully-paid holidays.

“This initiative is our way of thanking our loyal customers while offering them unmatched value and exciting rewards,” Christophe Orcet, Regional Director for East Africa at Majid Al Futtaim Retail said.

The Carrefour app plays a pivotal role in the festival. Designed for seamless online shopping, it offers access to over 8,000 items, including groceries and household products. Features like ‘build your shopping list’ and ‘frequently purchased’ tabs save time for users, while a one-hour delivery slot option adds flexibility.

Franck Moreau, Country Manager of Carrefour Kenya, highlighted the app’s impact, saying: “We are confident that the new app will provide Kenyan customers with a convenient and safe option to shop from the comfort of their homes.”

With its mix of major discounts, enticing prizes, and digital innovation, Carrefour’s Brand Festival is redefining the shopping experience in Kenya.
