“Over the last one week, our team has been meticulously preparing to get our beautiful beer ready for delivery in time for the re-start of the most popular league and deliver the perfect pint to fans. As we kick off the season, we are leaving nothing to chance to ensure that we give our consumers the best experience as we start off the football season for the most popular and watched football league in the world. The visually stunning spectacle of the glistening Guinness and EPL branded truck is not just an innovation, but a statement that Guinness is indeed here to make match day for our fans by the fans even brighter” said Henrietta Reed, Marketing Manager.

The Guinness truck will leave the Kenya Breweries depot on Friday morning and make its way through five counties to Kisumu, in readiness for the Guinness matchday on Saturday and Sunday – the opening weekend of the new EPL Season. On arrival in Kisumu, the truck will make several rounds at the lakeside city where football fans and Guinness consumers will have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of it and interact with it before it heads over to Kampala Uganda before its return on Sunday for the second day of the Guinness Matchday.

EPL Season Match Committee

The Guinness Matchday Committee led by Director of Drinks Analysis, Caroll Radull, Chief Entertainment Officer, Lotan Salapei and Nana Owiti, Chief Snacks Officer, are back in action working with Guinness to carefully curate a matchday experience for the fans by the fans at Black Pearl Lounge.
