Carrefour Kenya has launched a pioneering 24/7 express grocery delivery service. This initiative marks Carrefour as the first retailer in Kenya to offer round-the-clock delivery, catering to residents in Nairobi, Diani, and Nyali. The service allows customers to purchase everyday essentials through the Carrefour app between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., with delivery completed within 60-90 minutes at no additional cost.

Christophe Orcet, Regional Director of East Africa at Majid Al Futtaim Retail said the new service is designed to provide unparalleled convenience and accessibility, addressing the growing demand for late-night shopping options.

“We are committed to innovating to meet our customers’ evolving needs. We recognize the increasing demand for convenience in today’s fast-paced world, requiring brands to offer seamless digital experiences. Carrefour’s 24/7 delivery service is launched in response to high demand for late-night delivery options, and is a testament to our commitment to providing convenient, on-demand access to a wide range of products at affordable prices,” Orcet said.

Customers can access this service by downloading and using the Carrefour app. The app offers a user-friendly interface, allowing users to browse over 15,000 products, including groceries, electronics, and household items. Features such as the “Wishlist” and “Buy Again” tabs enhance the shopping experience, making it easier for customers to manage their orders and track frequently purchased items.
