The coming weeks will see a well curated set of celebrations across the country. These celebrations are aimed at creating a good experience for consumers while also giving them a platform to witness live performances by Kenya’s popular homegrown artists. The festival will conclude on the 12th of December at Java Blue Lounge in Embu after stops at Space Next Door in Nakuru on 14th November, Big Tree, Mombasa on 21st November, Gawanaz Club in Nanyuki on 28th November, Al Capone in Nakuru on 5th December, and Klassique Lounge in Nyeri on 5th December.
Why Tusker Oktobafest Celebrations Have been Extended In Kenya
This year, KBL decided against hosting a big one-off event as has been the tradition for the previous editions. The regional celebrations has opened up the space for more artists to join in and perform to crowds spread across strategic regions in the country.
Marketing Manager at KBL Marketing Manager Rediet Yigezu says success of this year’s Tusker Oktobafest celebrations is what necessitated the extension beyond the traditional early November festival end date.
“The overwhelming turnout at today’s event and previous editions across the country are a testament to the growing need for authentic, local experiences accessible to consumers wherever they are, and reaffirms our decision to scale the festival to a nationwide celebration. We are excited to extend this celebration beyond the month of beer to reach even more of our consumers,” Yigezu said after a hugely successful Mombasa edition of Tusker Oktobafest at 1922 on 1st November.
Just like the rest of the celebrations since launch, this weekend’s edition of Tusker Oktobafest celebrations will offer flash sales and exclusive discounts on beer lovers’ favourite KBL beers, lagers, stouts, ciders and malts. The offers will also be available at supermarkets and select e-commerce partners.
Mugithi sensation Tonny Young, who is headlining the Tusker Oktobafest celebrations at Enkang village park in Kiserian, will treat fans to what is expected to be an electrifying performance on the first weekend of the festive season. Young has gained popularity with his unique singing style and live performances that has captured the imaginations of many upcoming artists in Kenya.
Beer lover are encouraged to follow official updates on Tusker’s official and verified channels on Facebook and Twitter (X) to learn more about the event details and what they are expected to do while attending.
