Solaire Africa has officially launched its Nairobi headquarters, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion across the African continent. The solar energy solutions provider announced that Kenya will serve as its regional hub as it seeks to strengthen access to clean and reliable energy solutions across Africa.
The company, which boasts more than two decades of experience in solar manufacturing, has already installed over 3.5 megawatts of solar capacity in Kenya. The Nairobi office, located in Westlands, is expected to coordinate regional operations, sales support, and technical services while driving the company’s growth strategy in Africa.
Solaire Africa enters the Kenyan market as a comprehensive solar solutions provider, offering solar inverters, lithium batteries, solar water heaters, solar panels, and complete off-grid and hybrid energy systems. The company also provides installation services and after-sales support aimed at both residential and commercial customers.
Solaire Africa Offices Equipped With R&D Spaces
Speaking during the launch, Chairman Mr. Mohamed Ali Chenagadan said the decision to establish the regional headquarters in Nairobi reflects the company’s confidence in Kenya’s growing renewable energy sector and strategic position in Africa. He noted that Kenya provides an ideal environment for innovation, investment, and sustainable energy development.
The Nairobi office features a modern facility equipped with research and development spaces, training areas, warehousing facilities, and customer support services. The company says the investment will help improve service delivery and strengthen partnerships across East Africa.
Solaire Africa also plans to invest in skills development by offering technical training programs for engineers and solar professionals. The initiative is expected to create employment opportunities while helping to address the growing demand for qualified renewable energy technicians in the region.
The launch event attracted business leaders and dignitaries from Kenya and India, underscoring the strong commercial ties between the two countries. Company officials said the Nairobi headquarters will play a central role in advancing clean energy adoption and supporting sustainable development across Africa.
